Donations
A donation is a gift. It is allocated to the campaign selected at the time of giving and applied to the delivery of that programme, including its reasonable direct running costs.
Where a campaign is fully funded, closed, or cannot proceed, funds are applied to the next phase of the same programme or to the closest related campaign. Any such transfer is recorded in our annual report.
Payment
Payments are processed by our banking partner using 3D Secure authentication. Submitting the donation form is an instruction to charge the amount shown, in the currency shown, to the card you present on the bank’s page.
Refunds
If you donated in error, or for an amount other than you intended, contact us within fourteen days quoting your donation reference. Where the funds have not yet been committed to programme delivery we will refund them in full to the original card.
Receipts
A receipt is issued automatically on successful payment and is available from a permanent link sent to the email address you supplied. Receipts are records of a gift received; they are not a tax document unless your jurisdiction recognises them as such.
Accuracy of this website
Campaign targets, raised totals and beneficiary figures are updated regularly and are believed accurate when published. Programme circumstances change, and we reserve the right to adjust a campaign’s scope where conditions on the ground require it.
