What we collect
When you donate we collect your name, email address, and optionally your phone number, country and a message. When you use the contact form we collect your name, email address, subject and message. Our web server records the IP address of form submissions in order to detect abuse.
What we never see
Card details are entered on our banking partner’s own secure payment page. Card numbers, expiry dates and security codes are never transmitted to, processed by, or stored on this website.
How we use it
- To process your donation and allocate it to the campaign you chose.
- To issue your receipt and send your confirmation email.
- To answer your enquiry, where you contacted us.
- To meet our accounting, audit and regulatory obligations.
What we do not do
We do not sell, rent, exchange or otherwise share donor information with any third party for their own use. We do not use donor data for automated profiling. We do not send marketing email unless you asked us to.
How long we keep it
Donation records are retained for the period required by financial and charity regulation. Contact-form messages are retained for two years and then deleted. You may ask us to delete anything not required by law to be retained.
Your rights
You may ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to the address on our contact page and we will respond within thirty days.
Cookies
This site sets one cookie: a session identifier required to keep your donation form and administrator login working. It is removed when you close your browser. No advertising or analytics cookies are set.
