Temporary shelter becomes permanent when nobody funds the next step. This campaign rebuilds 40 homes damaged beyond safe occupation — not tents or containers, but repaired masonry, sound roofing, insulation, wiring, sanitation and a secure door.
Work is carried out by contractors from the same community, which puts wages back into the local economy and means someone nearby knows how to maintain what was built.
Each rebuilt home is handed over with a title document and a twelve-month structural guarantee.
